Again for Editorial. I probably would have cried at the extent to which I overworked the second one at three in the morning had it not been such a good time of drinking tea and talking with reba while we worked. There were also pink tulips on my desk. But even though they were in agreement about the overworking of things the critique was the most encouraging ever. The class loved the first option for its sensitivity of line and wash and thought them to have a very southern feel to them (what i wanted ah!) and professor Briant loved the second one, and asked if i had ever read Roxaboxen. MY FAVORITE CHILDRENS BOOK! because it reminded him of that. I almost cried. he also said it looked like it had a dark odd element too it, and he could see it being somethign someone unearthed in an old thrift store. So i dont know if someone told him exactly what i woudl want to hear and then payed him to, but either way ill take it.
ps. yes, this is inspired by Peters song, but doesnt pay it the respect it deserves and should only be tied to that song for a small minority of people- namely the 3 to 7 year old category.
